NEW FODR DISPLAY BOARDS    

For about 15 years, a three-panel, foam-core photographic display board of various Dragon scenes and FODR activities has served our organization when we have participated in activities in and around Middle Peninsula. This exhibit has been proudly displayed at the Daffodil Festival in Gloucester, the Oyster Festival in Urbanna, and has even traveled as far as Richmond and Hampton to represent Friends of Dragon Run.

After all that time and lots of use, however, the exhibit was beginning to look rather "tired" and many of the photographs were deteriorating from sun exposure and constant handling. It was time to upgrade. An extensive search was conducted to find a suitable replacement. We finally settled on a set of
light-weight, no-assembly-required, black velcro-fabric panels with a carrying case included. The fabric allows the photographs to be easily be placed anywhere on the boards, in any position, on both the front and back of the three connected panels.

All of the pictures that were still in good condition were rescued from the old boards and are now used in the new display, along with many new plants, critters, and scenic views of the Dragon. This beautiful display unit was purchased from Siegel Display Products in Minneapolis and should serve the organization well for many years to come.  Teta Kain
