Demand for paddling the Dragon continues to grow. Word has spread and our paddle trips fill quickly. In less than three weeks, all paddle trips for the spring season had been booked. This year’s spring paddle season began April 15 and ends May 26. We’ll conduct paddles every day (with two paddles in one day on several occasions).
We are happy this year to welcome students from three local schools and homeschoolers on paddles. We are still operating with caution to avoid the spread of Covid. For this reason, we are avoiding the carpooling required with one-way trips and limiting the number of guests per paddle trip to eight.
Our put-in and take-out points for the roundtrip paddles are at our Big Island complex launch site. This is the same launch site as our 2021 summer and fall paddle trips but with a slightly different route.
This season we are offering those who were not able to schedule a paddle trip the option of adding their name to a cancellation list. Visit our website for details.
The season has begun and we look forward to showing guests the beauty of the Dragon in spring!
